Olivia Ivanson is one of approximately 400 dually-certified speech-language pathologists and Board Certified Behavior Analysts in the world. Located in Fishers, Indiana, she has eight years of experience working with young children with complex communication and feeding needs in private practice and public school settings.
Olivia has experience teaching children to communicate using vocal speech, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), modified sign language, and a variety of voice-output devices. In addition, she has published and presented research on augmentative and alternative communication and remains passionate about helping every child develop functional communication for a better quality of life.
As a mom of three, Olivia knows the critical role parents play in the development of intentional communication. Parents are encouraged to be involved in each therapy session to benefit from hands-on training in both behavioral strategies and speech-language prompting.
